ROTOR is an innovative pedaling system that eliminates the dead spot. ROTOR Cranks work by increasing the force applied on the crank pushing, propelling the other crank to pass the 12 o'clock point, also know as the dead spot. This happens 180 times per minute in a 90 Revolutions Per Minute ride. Or 10,800 times an hour! The cyclist can now "permanently push" the cranks as there is no gap when the legs take over push/recover duties.
ROTOR's elimination of the dead spots allows the rider to produce more wattage and lower his lactate threshold. This extra wattage is converted to speed up to 2 minutes per 40km TimeTrial. In the same way, Rotor also enables the cyclist to climb hills easier and faster.

ROTOR Q-Rings do not eliminate the dead spot like ROTOR Cranks, but minimize the dead spots and relieve knee pain. There will be an increase of power using the elliptical chainrings as Q-Rings enable the legs to remain in the power stroke for a longer period of time when compared to the conventional round chainrings.
